Wow! I was so excited to fall back into the world of Caroline “Charlie" Collins, now Dr. Caroline (drop the Charlie please) Collins and Colin "Fucking" McKinney, hot Dallas QB.

This is the second book in the Infinity series, picks up right where the first book left off. Layne Harper makes it so easy to tumble headlong back into the world of Caroline & Colin…

The changes that happen to two people who have spent the last 8 years apart, but still loving each other along the way becomes apparent the deeper into the book you fall. They have both changed so much. But their love for each other seems to have grown stronger & more vibrant despite their separation. And it will need to be bullet proof if it is going to survive the firestorm their rekindled romance ignites in the media and personal arena that their lives are about to become.

Colin has become a celebrity and under more public scrutiny than ever. At times he has to have a security team in tow to protect him from his more rabid fans. He can't seem to make a move in his public or private life without it becoming fodder for his "adoring" public.

Caroline is a quiet, confident Doctor working in her father’s sports medicine practice. She is content with her quiet, boring life and relishes her anonymity.

Now they have to face a media storm started by Colin's vindictive ex-lover. Caroline’s manipulative father throws in an ultimatum roadblock into the mix: me and your career or Colin.

Can they come out the other side together & stronger or will it tear them apart?

Again I laughed, swore, and sobbed my way through the continuation of Colin & Caroline’s story. Ms. Harper gives you permission to believe in a soul deep love with these two believable people. I can't wait for book #3!
